"Live and ink."

a list of the symbols we have chosen to adorn our body with.

semicolon (2024-12)

a half-inch semicolon, in black ink, on our left wrist.
it is a show of solidarity with those who deal with mental health conditions.

this usage was popularized by the organization Project Semicolon, which explains:

:: "A semicolon is used when an author could have chosen to end their sentence, but chose not to. The author is you and the sentence is your life."

mercury (2025-12)

a half-inch classical mercury symbol, in black ink, on our right wrist.
it is a symbol of our creativity, volatility, and proclivity for doing interesting things.

mercury (changeable) is one of the "three primes" named by the alchemist Paracelsus in the 1500s, alongside sulfur (combustible) and salt (permanent).

this symbol can also be seen in this website's icon and 88x31.
